November 29th, 2008 Photoshop and drawingtablet I know who I am on the inside, and I know what I stand for. You may curse me, alter my form, set the world against me, and make those I swore to protect, believe that I am the monster, instead of you... But this does not change a thing. Be it by fang or by blade, I will bring you and your taint crashing down to Earth! I know who I am... The question is: do you? I don't know why it took me so long to draw this picture, but it was certainly worth the time and effort. It was really good fun. I've been wanting to draw both Wolf Link and the Master Sword for quite a while now, so this way I got to do both. Consider this picture an ode of sorts - not so much to the game itself, but rather to its concept. The Twilight Princess was not a bad game by any means, but it really could have been quite awesome if Nintendo had gone the extra mile. Shame really. I used this reference picture when I drew the Master Sword. I also used this picture as a partial reference for the pose, although it obviously isn't completely identical. |
