October 5th, 2008 Photoshop and drawingtablet Second place contest prize for: Reigai (a.k.a. BigBadComplex) Oh! Sparklies!! Reigai's prize is a picture of his comic's crazy (not to mention evil) protagonist, Rei, being stalked by the Gatekeeper. I have no idea who or what the Gatekeeper may be, since he hasn't actually appeared yet in the comic, but apparently his presence does something weird to Rei's eyes... As if they weren't freaky enough to begin with... Heh. I can't help but think I may have messed up the Gatekeeper's design somehow. I'm not even sure if he can really fade into existence like some sort of ghost, but I figured it would be cool if he could do stuff like that. I know I probably shouldn't be saying this, but I would sure like to see someone kick Rei's butt for once... Maybe the Gatekeeper will be the one to do that (despite the fact that he has no legs). A word of warning: Pokémon Antithesis may be a webcomic about Pokémon, but... let's just say it's not exactly suitable for little kiddies.
