September 14th, 2007 Photoshop and drawingtablet This is a rather lame gag I drew for 'Just Gotta'. Before they both joined Hillaree, the Rattata, Jaws, was chasing down this rather cowardly Pikachu, Boltz. Apparently Boltz had unwittingly eaten one of Jaws' secret collections of nuts. For some reason this scene for a gag popped into my head. I know it's rather lame... But at least the picture looks pretty nice. So when Vye Brante asked her readers to come up with gags for her comic, I drew this. I couldn't really think of anything better. I think the Pikachu looks a bit doglike. It might be because of his big nose. That Rattata looks exactly right, though. He sort of reminds me of Nami, but she is baby-cute, while Jaws is vicious-cute. I know that sounds strange, but that's just how I see it. EDIT: November 17th, 2007: Finally fixed a silly typo in the gag. Changed 'refrase' into 'rephrase'. I forgot who pointed the typo out, but thanks. :)
