August 22nd, 2007 Photoshop, Corel Painter and drawingtablet This was the result of my attempt to draw realistic fur on Blue Uncia. I sort of figured I could use Corel Painter for the job. So first I made a quick sketch in Photoshop and loaded it in Corel Painter. I might have made the picture too large, because Corel Painter was really laggy. And I just couldn't get it right. This is what I was able to do with Corel Painter. I wasn't too pleased with it, so I gave up on Corel Painter all together and loaded the picture back to Photoshop. After tinkering around with it some more, I ended up with the picture you see here. For a first attempt at drawing fur in a realistic manner, I guess this isn't such bad result. I think I'll try it again one day, only then I'll stick with Photoshop. |
