 Page 1: May 9th, 2010. Cover page. Clip, why are you so darn cute?!  Page 2: May 12th, 2010. So it begins. And look; first person narrator!! Clip, watch where you point those things! (I drew his wings a bit too big...) I wonder, does anyone find this offensive? Just checking.  Page 3: May 13th, 2010. Clip doesn't like tree suckers... Pinsir's mouth was totally inspired by this. He must drool a lot.  Page 4: May 14th, 2010. Eeewww, stop laughing, Pinsir!! There are children present! Seriously...  Page 5: May 15th, 2010. The big man himself arrives. Turns out Zaar is a pretty okay guy. Heh.  Page 6: May 16th, 2010. Clip used DESU EYES!!  Page 7: May 16th, 2010. Father-son time... DBZ STYLE!! Moche is not a fan of it.  Page 8: May 17th, 2010. Let's just imagine I said something witty here...  Page 9: May 18th, 2010. In this comic the solitary Scizors are outcasts, living on the fringes of Scyther swarms. This will be explained in later rounds, but I thought I might as well mention it now. :)  Page 10: May 19th, 2010. I particularly enjoyed drawing that final panel... Billy is the nickname of the Shed Shell, by the way.  Page 11: May 20th, 2010. Here, have another cliffhanger!  Page 12: May 21st, 2010. You don't see that every day. I wonder if anyone is still in the dark about who or what is responsible for this little circus act.  Page 13: May 21st, 2010. I know this is a little off-topic, but I've come to the realization that my Nincada Shed Shell (Billy), doesn't actually look like a Nincada. So I'm going to try and slowly morph him back into one over the next few pages. XD  Page 14: May 22nd, 2010. Obligatory disclaimer time: Mewtwo's role in my Pokeventure entry/entries will be strictly limited to that of pumped up plot device of doom (and maybe he'll also get a few cameos here and there). As per the PokeVenture's rules, he won't form any relationships with Moche or Clip. In fact, he doesn't even have any lines. ^^  Page 15: May 23rd, 2010. I think you'll be forgiven, Moche, for being just a teensy bit petrified of Mewtwo right now. Especially since the guy feels 'wrong' to you, but still...  Page 16: May 23rd, 2010. ......  Page 17: May 23rd, 2010. Desperation leads to kamikaze action.  Page 18: May 23rd, 2010. Scizors can't fly. Period. :)  Page 19: May 24th, 2010. "NOOOOO-oh wait, THERE they are!!" This would almost be humorous if it wasn't for the situation. Also, the helicopters hated me, so they don't look very good...  Page 20: May 24th, 2010. Okay, time for some background info, I think: 1. So we leave the giant flash-back and enter the "present", indicated by a different shading technique. Future chapters will hop up and down between the past and the present. 2. We also enter cameo-land. Arnold the Pidgey belongs to electricbobcat, by the way. 3. Moche's wings are out 4. My interpretation of the Rocket Game Corner is a little more uptown than the one in the games. 5. Yes, Moche really is gonna stroll right through the front door. 6. Moche hasn't actually ever been to the Game Corner before. When he says he doesn't want to go back, he means the human world in general doesn't appeal to him.  Page 21: May 27th, 2010. Moche finds a clue... Cameos: Rocket Executive Ace (Delano-Laramie) Selkirk the Houndour (kurokitty) Lyle the giant shiny Ekans (CB-Tomboi) Dottie and Peanut the Meowth (Eeveegou; Couldn't resist throwing a BT cameo in there, heh.)  Page 22: May 27th, 2010. Lyle is so cute. I want to take him home with me... Cameos: Roland the Vulpix (ary) Formula the Aron (prefined) Celadon Game Corner prizes randomly pulled from Bulbapedia.  Page 23: May 28th, 2010. Whoops! Looks like someone interrupted Moche's dramatic narrative!! :D Piccolo the timid Cubone belongs to Miyukitty, she's a non-player character and I'll be abducting her for the duration of the OCT. Hurrhurr...  Page 24: May 29th, 2010. Poor acting, excellent distraction strategy... Cameos: Blitz the Jolteon (sareii) Telvsa the Houndoom (deathbybroccoli)  Page 25: May 29th, 2010. Okay, I know I said that I wouldn't use any of Moche's non-active moves (the four indicated on his ref sheet) in my comics, but I kind of changed my mind, hoping that using a move or two occasionally, while outside of battle wouldn't be too much of a problem. I hope that's okay. Cameos: Alias the Raichu (quidditativeinanity)  Page 26: May 30th, 2010. Poor Moche. It's just one heart attack after the other for him, huh?  Page 27: May 30th, 2010. Why am I shading all these pages again? Cameos: King the Arbok (Athens025) Spitz the three-legged Vaporeon (WorstCase-Scenario) Honey the Beedrill (LeeLeeMoreau)  Page 28: May 30th, 2010. Done! Drawing 28 pages took longer than I thought it would, but overall I'm quite happy. :D Moche and Piccolo. They'll be sticking together for a while in my entries. Not sure if that's the kind of interaction we're allowed to have with NPC's, but I rather like this couple. :) |
