October 8th, 2008 Photoshop and drawingtablet Second place contest prize for: Niatasha Elyse (a.k.a. Lenval) When these two pokes team up on you, you know you're history... This is Niatasha's other prize: a picture of her fully evolved Charizard, Nina, together with an equally fullgrown Nile. I went a little nuts on the background, especially considering the fact I only wanted to draw a simple one, since that's what the second prize entails (a picture of two characters with a simple background, that is). But, meh... I reserve the right to go totally overboard on my art, so there! Besides, Niatasha entered my contest a whopping three times, so I think she deserves something special for that. Anyway, in case anyone was wondering, I made the rocks in the foreground using some of the techniques described in this tutorial. Check it out! It's good. :) This picture has been scaled down.
