2010 Contest entry: Catwalk category (3rd place) Received: June 10th, 2010 From: kay-auss-sama Judging: Kay enters with a concept which, frankly, may not seem particularly original at first glance: the SoL cast dressed as the season 1 cast from the Pokémon anime. That said, she is the first to actually draw it, and the more I think about it, the more it actually does make sense. The SoL gang actually does share quite a few personality traits with Ash, Brock and Misty, especially with their earliest versions. It brings back pretty fond memories, actually. And I also like the execution, with those vribrant colors and the expressions. Sub seems to wonder why he should have to keep his eyes closed. Or maybe he just doesn't trust the others enough to leave them unsupervised.
