So my mom got married yesterday, on what was probably the rainiest day of the week. Despite that, it was a very nice wedding, with lots of people attending the party afterwards. I'm not much of a night person, however, so I've spent most of this morning sleeping in. Which is why your comic was a little delayed today. ;)

There's something I didn't mention last week. On August 9th, we went and adopted a new cat from the shelter. Now that he's had some time to settle, it looks like he's made himself quite at home. So I feel comfortable announcing it now.

He's a big, sweet five year old tomcat, who just loves to cuddle. His original name was Charles the Second, but I've decided to rename him Max (Charles Maximilian the Second). Max's original owners had to give him up when one of their children turned out to be allergic to cats.

It's been a good while since our previous cat died, and it's nice to have a feline in the house again. I still think every household should have a cat, but I am rather biased that way. Having a large cat plop down on your keyboard to demand a cuddle isn't inconvenient at all. ^^
