Here's a new SoL page and some new art. Aside from that there still isn't much to update on. Maybe it's time for a new poll? Would you guys have any suggestions for a subject?

I guess I've hit a bit of a quiet patch art wise. I'm just moving along, posting comics and making contest prizes. All the monochrome sketches are now done, by the way. I'm moving on to the more elaborate pieces, which means I'm getting closer to wrapping things up. After that I'll see what I can do about finishing Moche's story.

I'm looking forward to that, actually. :)

I don't have a lot to update with today. It's been a rather slow week for art, but I can report that I'm back on track thumbing out my SoL pages. Pretty soon I'll be able to tell you exactly how long this chapter will be, which is always a good thing.

Under the thumbnail with the big scary "mature content" warning, you'll find a zombie picture. I'm sure not everyone finds that offensive, but nevertheless I'd rather not take any chances. Have a nice weekend! ^^

So my brother's birthday was last Wednesday. (Not the brother I based Matt on, but my other brother.) Last weekend I spent some time browsing internet shops until I stumbled upon what is (hopefully) the perfect present.

So I happily ordered it and logged off, content that my gift would totally rock his socks.

The next day I logged back onto the site to check a few things and I also checked out my order status. Turns out I completely missed the notice above my article, saying it would take two to three weeks to deliver. It usually takes three to four days.

Thankfully my brother is the understading sort. He celebrated his birthday by firing off a few confetti shooters in our home. Such a festive soul.


So far I'm doing a great job staying awake this year. How about you guys? :)

Funny how these holidays all fall in the weekend this year, huh?

And by "funny" I also mean "somewhat unfortunate", because now we can't substract these days from our own vacation time, but so be it.

I hope you all had a great night yesterday! I'm not normally one to make New Year's resolutions, because then you'll actually have to keep them. But this year I think I can make a few tentative ones. ;)


1. Create and maintain a somewhat orderly and clean working space. This one is easy, because I've already been working on this for several weeks. Over the last two years my room has been devolving into a cosy but slightly chaotic mess. Any form of index or organization existed solely in my head. But I'm working to change that now!

2. Read more. I keep buying books, thinking, "these will be amazing to read", or, "I could learn a lot form this!" And this would probably be true, if I had the time to read them.

3. Attempt to write a little every now and then. Drawing and creating comics is fun, but I'd like to expand my horizons a little. I don't think I'll be posting my stories online any time soon, but it would be nice to at least get busy. Also, I need to write down SoL's major plot points. XD

4. Enter less OCTs. You'd think this one would be easy, right? Hahah!

5. Clean out my e-mail boxes and DeviantART message centre, because things have gotten WAY out of hand these days...
