Title: End of the month, end of a chapter |

Sometimes I can't believe how fast time flies. It's the end of October already! My birthday is next week, on November
5th. I'll be 26... which is old... Today also happens to be the day of the last page for this chapter! How
is that?

Now that the contest is over, it's back to business as usual. I'll get busy with the prizes soon. I haven't received
a note from all the winners yet, however. If you won something in this contest, please don't forget to send me a note
on dA. Of course if you need some time to make up your mind about what you want, that's perfectly fine, but just don't

It's been two weeks since the contest ended, so now it's finally time to announce the winners! While there weren't
as many entries as two years ago, it was still difficult to pick a winner, because it was obvious you guys tried
very hard! So first of all, I'd like to thank all the entrants for participating. Regardless of whether you won or
not, I really appreciate that you took the time to enter my contest. Thank you! Now, to show my appreciation I've
added some critiques to all of the entries, including the ones who lost. Click on your entry to see what I wrote.
You guys win: - A fully colored and shaded picture with background, of up to three characters of your choice - A flat-colored sketch of a character of your choice - A monochrome sketch of a character of your choice - A 1 year subscription for DeviantART - A 4 week feature of your art and/or personal website in my journal on dA

The remaining entrants each get a monochrome sketch of a character of their choice. To avoid any confusion: those of you who entered more than once still count as a single entrant, and so you will receive one sketch each. Now here's how it will go: Winners please contact me as soon as possible and let me know what you'd like to have drawn for you. Since you all have dA accounts, you can do this by sending me a note on dA. Also please let me know what you'd like to do with the subscriptions you have won. If you'd like to receive them yourself, that's fine, but if you want to give yours away, or if you want to subscribe an alt account I need to know before the end of Sunday. If I haven't heard from you by then, I will assume you want the sub on the account you used to post your entry. Other than that, there's nothing you need to do! Another Saturday, and another SoL update. I can also announce that the summer contest is now officially over. You
can find the relevant information and the entries by following
this link to my dA journal. Expect the
results two weeks from now at the latest. That's also when I'll put the entries on this site too. And that's it!
