Last sunday I went to my aunt and uncle's place, because it was my cousin's birthday. Her brother was interested in finding a webhoster, so we talked about mine. When I showed him my site, I got quite a shock. As it turned out, my cousin doesn't use Internet Explorer like most people do. Instead he uses the increasingly popular browser Firefox. And unfortunately, Firefox mangles my site because it interprets the code differently. Or something like that. Basically, I think Firefox is more strict or something.
This is what Blue Uncia looks like on Explorer and this is what Firefox makes of it. Can you spot one or two differences? I've decided to try and fix these things when I renovate the site this summer. I think I know how to fix most of them. There is an addon fore Firefox users, that makes the browser behave like IE. You can download it here. Of course, 'fixing' the visitors browser is no way to solve this little problem, so I'll dive into Blue Uncia's code as soon as I have some more time on my hands. :)

I just uploaded another comic for you guys to read. I'm sorry the story is so slow right now, but unfortunately... I STILL haven't finished working for school yet. Now I could write another paragraph whining about it, but I guess that won't change anything. So instead I've decided to use my spare time to start renovating Blue Uncia. I wanted to wait untill school was properly finished, but at this rate... that... might take a while.
Just so you know, Stuff of Legend will not stop being updated so there's no need to worry about that. I'm just going to change the website little by little on my computer untill I'm happy with it. When I'm done I'll upload the whole thing to the server so you guys can enjoy it too. That won't be untill late August, but at least now you already know about it.
I've updated my Linkspage for now. It had some dead links, because a few webcomics got moved. So I fixed the dead links, deleted some old links and added a whole new set of links. So I guess we're all linked up again.

All this talk about links has made me want to play Zelda again...

I don't know about the rest of the world, but here in Holland all we had the past few weeks was rain, rain, rain... I guess it beats being in a heatwave, but I don't really feel the summertime-fibe yet.

Ok, so I'm almost done with my internships now. I just about finished stuffing all my info in the database so all I have to do now is check the whole thing for mistakes, finish up some chores and write my report. Then I can start writing my masterthesis. Hopefully I'll be done by August. Heheheh...
Oh well, that's life I guess. Rest assured, the comic will not suffer any delays, because I have a buffer of eight pages! Go me! ^_^

Yup, it's a Tuesday-update! Complete with new SoL! Why? Well, I'm feeling festive. Yesterday we got our new puppy. And when I say 'our', I mean 'Elisabeth's'. The new puppy is called Emma, and of course... I have PICTURES!!


Repeat after me: 'AAAaaawwwwww...'


The other dog is our (Elisabeth's) Sophie. As you can see, she doesn't mind having the little pup around.


Playing is such hard work.


Oh, and we also have a cat called Tiger. And when I say 'we', I mean 'me'. He's been around for about fifteen years, but you didn't think I wouldn't post a picture of him just because today happens to be puppy-day, did you? ^_^
