Photoshop and drawingtablet

Phew... I finally managed to finish it! This is my part of an art trade with CoconutMilkyway. These are her characters Odin (bottom) and Avalon (top). Avalon came out looking a little effeminate, but he's really a guy. Let's just blame me for being stupid in that regard. I messed it up. I was also going to draw Argidus as a surprise, but he didn't fit. So to balance out the composition, we now have a dead tree. And trust me, at first I didn't want it to be a dead tree; I wanted to give it some nice green foliage. But I fell in love with the moon behind the tree. It's one of my more successful moons and I didn't want the tree to totally block it out. So erm... yeah, no foliage.

I noticed something else, while I was drawing this. Whenever I do an art trade with someone, I seem to slightly adopt that person's drawing style. I don't do it on purpose. It just happens. Although in CoconutMilkyway's case, that's not a bad thing. Her art is lovely and I certainly learned a lot and had fun while doing this picture.
